This is the name I’ve given to my tiny furniture refinishing operation. I’ve based it on the premise that everything you want has already been thrown out by someone else, because I firmly believe it is true.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned from a lifetime of garage sales, flea markets and second-hand stores, it’s this: Rarely is there a reason to buy anything new.
The world already has too many things. We are swimming in stuff. So when I see discarded or otherwise unwanted pieces tossed aside by their current owners, I pick them up, fix them up and offer them up for what I hope is a reasonable price.
On occasion, I’ll post when I have new projects either for sale or in the works, but you can always take a look at my Facebook page for new stuff: facebook.com/unwantedfurniture/
